Contest Rules

This application is not a gambling or gaming app. Participation is completely free and does not require any purchase or payment.

Qualification for the prize is based on users' general knowledge and performance within the quizzes. The purpose of the app is to allow users to test their knowledge and improve it by learning new information through game play.

The IQ Legends contest is open to registered users in supported countries only. There is no purchase necessary to participate. You must have an active account and be located in a supported country at the time of play to be eligible for the prize draw.

Supported countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Romania, Portugal, Luxembourg, Iceland, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Estonia.

The contest operates in seasons. Each season runs until 100,000 users have qualified by reaching Level 1 (35,000 points and 1,000 quizzes played). Once this threshold is met, a draw countdown begins.

There are three qualification levels, each granting additional entries into the prize draw:

⭐ Level 1 — 5,000 pts + 200 quizzes played → 1 chance to win
🌟 Level 2 — 12,000 pts + 400 quizzes played → 2 chances to win
🏆 Level 3 — 25,000 pts + 700 quizzes played → 3 chances to win
💎 Level 4 — 45,000 pts + 1,200 quizzes played → 4 chances to win
👑 Level 5 — 65,000 pts + 1,800 quizzes played → 5 chances to win

Higher levels do not replace lower entries — they stack. A Level 3 user has a total of 6 entries (1+2+3).

Important: Each quiz counts only once toward your progress. Replaying the same quiz will not increase your quiz count.

To ensure fair play, each user can play a maximum of 20 new quizzes per day. You may replay previously completed quizzes at any time, but replayed quizzes do not count again toward your quizzes played total.

IQ Legends employs multiple layers of fraud protection across the frontend, backend, and database. Quizzes that trigger any of these protection rules are automatically flagged as suspicious, and no points are awarded. Repeated violations may result in account review or disqualification.

When the number of qualified Level 1 participants reaches 10,000, the application will stop accepting further progress toward the draw.

At that moment:

A 24-hour countdown timer will begin.
During this period, no additional entries can be added or modified.

Once the countdown expires:

One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible participants.
The winner will receive the season prize of €10,000 (ten thousand Euro).

The draw process is fully automated, based on a script, and cannot be influenced or manipulated in any way.

Once the winner is announced:
- All user statistics (points, questions answered, levels) are reset to zero
- A new season begins immediately
- The winner is added to the Hall of Fame
- Season history is preserved for all users

Users can earn bonus points by referring new players. When a referred user completes 100 quizzes, the referrer receives 100 bonus points. Maximum 500 referrals per season. Referral counts reset each season.

IQ Legends reserves the right to disqualify users who violate the spirit of fair competition, including but not limited to: using automated tools, creating multiple accounts, or any form of cheating.

The prize for the contest is €10,000 (ten thousand Euro) (net amount). The Organizer will pay the applicable withholding tax in the country where the Organizer is established, according to the local tax legislation governing promotional prizes.

The winner will receive the net amount of €10,000 (ten thousand Euro). The Organizer will calculate, withhold, and pay the applicable prize tax to the relevant tax authorities in its jurisdiction.

Any additional tax obligations that may arise in the winner's country of residence are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for declaring the prize and paying any additional taxes that may be required under the tax laws of their country of residence.

A winner is considered valid only if they have provided a valid and reachable email address during registration.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted within 30 days from the initial notification attempt:

The prize will be forfeited.
A new winner will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible participants.

This process will repeat as many times as necessary, selecting a new winner every 30 days, until a reachable and valid winner is confirmed.

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their contact information is accurate and kept up to date at all times.

We are committed to maintaining a fair and competitive environment for all users.

We reserve the right to:
- Disqualify any user suspected of fraudulent behavior or attempts to manipulate the system
- Reset user statistics, including points, rankings, and progress, if cheating or abuse is detected
- Invalidate quiz results or rewards obtained through unfair means

Fraudulent activity may include, but is not limited to:
- Exploiting bugs or unintended game mechanics
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Manipulating app behavior or network traffic
- Any abnormal usage patterns detected by our systems

All decisions regarding fraud detection and enforcement are final and at our sole discretion.
